Weston Favell Open Gardens and Allotments 2019

These are pictures from some of the gardens open in June 2019 for the Weston Favell Open Gardens and Allotments. 

A cheque for £2000 was presented to the Hope Centre, which tackles poverty and homelessness, giving practical support and helping people to help themselves.

 Weston Favell Village Show 2018

Here are some pictures of the Village Show, showing the silly shaped vegetable (a dressed up strange shaped cucumber) which won first prize, the beautifully carved rocking horse and fabulous quilts in the handicrafts section. Also the tables groaning under a display of items given out by the Food Bank, the table groaning under donated cakes for the teas, and the packed table of tombola prizes, the Raffle was almost as big! Then some of the fruit and vegetable entries and the children's classes, which were much better supported this year.
